WHAT WE DO
Sidmouth Voluntary Services is a registered charity and has been providing services, care and friendship for the elderly & disabled in the Sid Valley area for over 60 years.
LUNCH CLUB
Morning Coffee
- We are open for tea, coffee, hot chocolate & refreshments every weekday morning from 9.00 to 11.45
- Drop in for a chat or to relax with the daily newspaper or a book from our library
Lunches
- Our Lunch Club runs from Monday to Friday and offers a three course freshly prepared meal
- Door-to-door minibus service is available for a very small additional cost
- Meals can also delivered to your home for a small additional charge
- Our kitchen has a 5 STAR award for hygiene
- All our fresh produce is sourced locally
TRANSPORT
Car Service
Our team of volunteer drivers use their own cars to transport you to medical appointments, including Covid-19 vaccination, doctor, dentist and hospital appointments in and around the Sid Valley area and as far as Exeter, or beyond if required. (Fees and cancellation charges apply).
Friends of Twyford Social Club
- Minibus trips to Waitrose and Lidl in Sidmouth
- Door-to-door Lunch Club minibus service
- Social outings to Garden Centres, for Afternoon Teas, Sunday Carvery Lunches, Music Concerts….and many other events
Suggestions for outings are always welcome
FRIENDS OF TWYFORD
The cost of membership is just £15 for 12 months. (1st January-31st December).
Lunch Club Minibus
We collect you from your home for lunch at Twyford House and then take you back, for £4.50 per return journey.
Shopping Bus to Waitrose or Lidl
We collect you from your home and then take you back with your shopping, for £6 per shopping trip (cancellation charge applies).
Social Outings
Visits to Garden Centres, for Afternoon Teas, Shopping Trips, Sunday Carvery lunches, Music concerts…..and many other activities. (Fees apply).
ROOM HIRE
Our wonderful facilities at Twyford House are available to hire at very reasonable cost and are ideal for Clubs, Societies, Meetings and Special Occasions.
- Lounge
with drop-down screen, projector and sound system available (max 56 people) - Dining Room
For up to 22 people seated - Garden Room
For up to 20 people - Small Meeting Room
For up to 6 people - Cloakroom facilities available
- The rooms can be hired individually or together
